Easter thoughts:
Christianity affirms the sovereignty of the individual, and individual rights. Christ is a benevolent, loving king. He is risen.
It’s wild that “Christ Is King” has now become known as some kind of counter culture dog whistle term. The world is getting weirder and weirder.
I hope you had a great Easter, if you celebrate. For me, holidays are milestones in the passage of time. They are one of the few things that compel me to pause my relentless work schedule, so I enjoy them. Arthur had his first Easter egg hunt today. We took photos and went to brunch, and discussed the Christ Is King phenomena with other Christians and vaguely “spiritual” friends. Libertarianism, conservatism, and Christianity are the new counter cultures. I think it’s important to understand the implications of this as we try to spread the message of liberty. Personally, I’m still unpacking it all.
The time is ripe to create new Libertarians. If you haven’t purchased a ticket for the Libertarian National Convention, please do so. https://lnc2024.com/
